Obsession: Cable Knit

I know winter is still far off, particularly in sunny Queensland, but this week’s wet weather had us reminiscing about hot water bottles, hot chocolates, and getting rugged up in cable knit jumpers. Since it’s still not cold enough for all of this, I had a good think about all the ways we could wear a cosy cable knit before, during and after the cold seasons! Whether it be baring your legs in some shorts or a skirt, or adding a scarf and some jeans and boots in the colder months, we’ve got you covered. Take a look.

 In the Autumn…

Pair your cable knit jumper with a pair of shorts and some cute sneakers! Make sure you show off those pins while they still have a summer glow.

1. Billabong Back Beach Knit – Blue Hawaii. 2. Camilla and Marc Sonia Short – White. 3. Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Dainty Low Shoe – White.

In the winter…

A pair of skinny jeans are the way to go – and add a cable knit scarf in a different shade to stay extra warm! Low-heeled cowboy-esque boots are super trendy this season, so give these black ones from Tigerlily a go!

1. Weathered Brigit Knit – Light Grey. 2. Lee Supatube Jean – Black Stretch. 3. Tigerlily Jazarian Boot – Black. 4. Billabong Wishlist Scarf – Black.

In the Spring…

Welcome the sunshine by pairing your jumper with a flirty skirt this spring! Add some cute flat boots and you have the perfect spring time outfit.

1. Minkpink Pride of Place Jumper – Natural. 2. Minkpink Education Skirt – Black. 3. Kustom Birdy Boot – Black.
