A moment with model Amanda Gylling
Hey Amanda, thanks for taking the time to catch up. What have you been up to?
I have spent the last two days daydreaming in airports and reading books on airplanes. Four flights later and I am finally in Mallorca, Spain… Time for adventures!
Woah that’s awesome! How did you first get into modelling?
It all started when I moved to Byron Bay about a year ago. Some local brands got in touch and I did my first few modeling gigs, and then I have just continued from there.
Being a model, you obviously need to stay fit and have a great eating plan. Can you tell us some of your favorite dishes and any fitness routines?
I eat everything! I have always been a big fan of fruits and veggies and I eat a lot of them. But only because I love them, not because they make me look a certain way.
I don’t really have fitness routines. However I usually workout 2-3 times a week. I go for a run or do some exercises such as sit-ups etc. But, some weeks I am too busy doing other things and don’t workout at all. I spent the first 20 years of my life being a dancer and it is still my favorite way to exercise! Also, I love to explore! So walking, hiking or just moving around comes naturally for me, however I don’t really see it as a workout.
Do you have a favorite meal?
Not really, but I adore feta cheese and Spanish olives!
If you weren’t a model, what else do you think you’d be doing?
I actually work as a photographer as well. So probably that.

Auguste the Label, Zulu & Zephyr + heaps of op shop treasures.
