If there is one person who truly lives the life we all dream, it’s Rhythm’s Asher Pacey. Solidifying his spot as one of the world’s best free surfers, the proud nomadic Aussie is known for his taste of adventure, ability to tear apart both local and international line-ups, spreading his genuine and simplistic lifestyle vibes along the way.

To celebrate the launch of the warm water season, we caught up with Asher to quiz him on his 5 favourite warm water destinations to help test those new trunks and let them prove they are worth every last penny. Here’s what he had to say.

1. Micronesia
The draw card for myself is primarily the surf. Namely the wave P-pass. Other points of interest are it’s pristine ultra clear waters, its lush tropical scenery and isolation from the rest of the surfing world.

2. Maldives
Due to its vast array of islands, atolls and various swell directions it has a plethora of high quality surf on any given day. The aesthetics of weaving your way through the islands is very pleasing to the eye.

3. Indonesia
Without a doubt Indonesia is the land of milk and honey for waves. Exposed to the clean lines of the Indian Ocean and world class set ups its the most likely place in the world to score some of the waves of your life.

4. Mexico
From terrifying beach breaks to dreamy points, warm tropical waters, palm trees, delicious beers and tacos. Mex ticks a lot of boxes!

5. Northern NSW & South East QLD
During the warmer months is hard to deny what’s right at our doorstep. The sheer quality and quantity of great waves on familiar shores lends itself to the feeling of being in the right place at the right time.
